Testimonials - Fountain Hill High School, Arkansas

Keturah West -

Dear Paul:

I just wanted to take a moment to say “thank you” for all your help, not just with technological questions that you have so eagerly answered, but for introducing VRDL to the Fountain Hill students! The virtual reality equipment has put a spark in their eyes. It has allowed their project to become real and accessible to our entire school and community! Even though only 4 students traveled to the Japanese relocation camps, everyone can “be there” by watching the tour.

I could go on and on about the endless opportunities that are now available for these students, but with out you guys giving us the support none of it would have been possible. You are so kind to always return their calls and emails. I appreciate the fact that you understand exactly what EAST is about. Thanks for everything!

Sincerely,
Turah West

David Titsworth-

Dear Paul Dwinell:

Paul, I appreciate your technical support and being able to answer my questions or at least giving me a way to fix my problems. The Virtual Reality software and hardware is marvelous and fairly simple to use. You don’t have to a computer wiz to learn how to use it. I have found this to be one of the coolest and innovative pieces of technology I’ve ever used. This equipment allows you to incorporate many EAST aspects into one specific process. It forces you to ask others for help because there is know way just one person could possibly put together a good tour by themselves.

Thank you,

David Titsworth

UPDATE:

Keturah West has recently been transferred to Monticello Elementary where students use the VRDL in their EAST Lab as intuitively as her prior high school students.

As a matter of fact, one of her students who attended the 2004 VRDL Training Workshop was tutoring the high school students in the training by the end of the first day! This shows that the VRDL can be embraced at nearly all grade levels.

Thanks go to Keturah for her continued involvement with her students and the VRDL!
